Bryant Park

Ah man.

It looks like you don’t have javascript enabled. To really enjoy this you kind of need it. But alas. You don’t. If you want to see the images anyway, go ahead.

This is something I’ve wanted to make for a while.

It is an interesting thing, to explore what might be learned from documenting your environment as it changes. The smaller subtle changes start to become patterns you see when you close your eyes. The shocking transitions as well. Doing this publicly was meant to be a diary, a diary of this weird place where outsiders are unwelcome, where everything is precisely crafted to appear a certain way. Seeing the permutation of time you begin to notice all the Disney magic, all the cracks and crevices.

This is my diary of working at a book company, eating my sad lunches in Bryant Park.
